How to install the
runtime for Pocket PC 2003 |
| Microsoft's eMbedded
Virtual Basic Runtime files are available in a self-extracting
.CAB file. You can download this .CAB file here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/windowsmobile/downloads/evb.aspx
Once you've downloaded the file onto your Windows
PC, sync your Pocket PC and allow the synchronization
cycle to complete. On your Windows PC, select "Explore"
from the ActiveSync toolbar. Copy and paste - or drag
and drop - the .CAB file to your Pocket PC with the
"Explore" function.

| On your Pocket PC, open
the "File Explorer" program, browse to the
folder where you copied the .CAB file and tap the file
to run it. The Runtime files will be installed.
