MEASURING FLOW IN BAUXITE ,COAL, IRON ORE, COPPER ,
TIN, GOLD ,SILVER,URANIUM,NICKEL,TUNGSTEN ,LEAD AND ZINC
EESIFLO manufactures non contact ultrasonic flowmeters for mining slurries and wastewater. Water based mining slurries can be measured from the outside of the pipe using rugged strap-on sensors. Since these flowmeters are non contact, plant engineers can retrofit them easily to existing plants. This also means that it is not necessary to shut down the flow system when installing or removing the flowmeter.
Ultrasonic meters also have comparatively insignificant installation costs. These meters have replaced many magnetic meters because of the convenience of a non contact flowmeter and significantly lower costs, depending on the line size.
In some instances, where the magnetic meter is less than 150 mm, its capital cost may be lower; however, when larger than that figure, an ultrasonic flowmeter is usually less costly.

The EESIFLO EASZ-3000 can be purchased
in both fixed wall mounted versions powered by 110/220
VAC or battery operated versions. Before placing this
order, the mines can test the areas where they want
to measure flow rates permanently by purchasing an
EASZ-10P battery operated non contact meter to gain
confidence and experience in the product.
Although the standard practice is to use magnetic
meters to measure slurry, mines are increasingly making
use of non contact flowmeters as they provide the
required measurements at better costs, convenience,
and plant availability.
The EESIFLO EASZ-3000 Doppler flow-meter is can be moved to other locations and from pipe to pipe since it is a strap on flowmeter that works on virtually all pipe sizes. You simply enter the pipe internal diameter into the menu and choose how you would like to transmit flow data, whether using analog output, pulse signals or relays. The meter also totalizes flow.
The portable flow units can be useful for checking
any fixed flowmeter or pump or immediately replacing
old meters or failed meters..
The EASZ 10P Portable flowmeters can also used widely
for spot measurements and preventative maintenance.
